This Privacy Policy explains how Findly handles information when you use the iOS app, its location sharing features, and related services. Findly is designed to let users view locations that friends have chosen to share.

2. No Direct Identity Information Required

Findly does not require you to submit a name, phone number, postal address, or other direct identity information to use its core features. We do not sell personal information or precise location data.

3. Location Information

Location is sensitive information. Findly accesses device location only after the user grants permission through iOS. Location may be processed only as needed to provide a sharing action initiated by the user, such as showing a location to an approved friend. Findly does not use precise location to create advertising profiles.

You can limit or revoke location permission at any time in iOS Settings. Stopping permission may prevent location sharing features from working.

4. Friend Sharing and Consent

Users must share or view location information only with the knowledge and permission of the people involved. A user must not use Findly for secret tracking, surveillance, harassment, or any unlawful purpose.

5. Technical and Usage Data

Our service providers may process limited technical data such as device type, operating system version, app version, diagnostic events, crash information, approximate network information, advertising identifiers where permitted, attribution events, and aggregated app usage. This information supports app reliability, measurement, fraud prevention, and advertising.

6. Third-Party Services

Findly uses third-party services that may process data under their own privacy policies:

• Firebase: app infrastructure, diagnostics, crash reporting, and related technical services.
• AppsFlyer: install attribution and aggregated marketing measurement.
• Google AdMob: advertising delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention.

The information processed by these providers depends on app configuration, device settings, regional requirements, and user consent choices.

7. Apple Subscriptions

Paid subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. Findly does not receive or store full payment card information. We may receive subscription status, product identifier, transaction identifier, and purchase validity information needed to provide paid access and support.

8. Advertising Choices

Where required, Findly requests permission before using an advertising identifier. You can manage tracking permission and advertising preferences through iOS Settings. Ads may still be shown when tracking permission is not granted, but they may be less personalized.

9. Data Retention and Security

Information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, subject to technical, legal, security, and service-provider requirements. Reasonable safeguards are used, but no mobile or network service can guarantee absolute security.

10. Your Controls

You can stop location access in iOS Settings, disconnect location sharing with friends, manage advertising permission, cancel subscriptions through Apple ID settings, or remove the app. Support and privacy requests can be submitted by email at [email protected].

11. Children's Privacy

Findly is not directed to children below the minimum age required by applicable law. Children must not use location sharing without the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian where required.

12. International Processing

Third-party providers may process technical information in countries where they operate, subject to their safeguards and applicable legal requirements.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the app or legal requirements change. The latest version date will be updated when a revised version is posted.
